On January 17, 2019, the Order of Saint Andrew the Apostle hosted a luncheon to address the issues of religious freedom in the Middle East, in particular the atrocities committed against Christians, in the occupied northern part of Cyprus by Turkish troops.
Alexis Phedonas, the Consul General of Cyprus, was among the participants, which also included Hon. B. Theodore Bozonelis, National Secretary, Archons Peter Kakoyiannis and Andrew E. Manatos, amongst other professors, theologians and supporters.
