On Saturday, February 3, 2024, the Archons of the Ecumenical Patriarchate who live in Southern California were honored by the Hellenic Society of Constantinople at its 57th Annual Vasilopita Dinner Dance, held at Saint Sophia Cathedral in Los Angeles. Six Archons attended, the Hon. Andreas Kyprianides, Stephen Yallourakis, MD, DDS, Michael J. Patzakis, MD, Kyriacos “Gig” Kyriacou, James Zaferis, and Constantine M. Boukidis. Archon Boukidis spoke on behalf of those Archons present and outlined the ongoing works of the Archons of the Ecumenical Patriarchate in protecting the future of faith for the Mother Church and promoting religious freedom around the world, and its ever-expanding agenda of initiatives. He also spoke about the Pilgrimage of Discovery, the upcoming 4th Archon International Conference on Religious Freedom to be held in Athens, Greece in May 2024, and the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew Foundation.
