On Tuesday, November 19, 2019, participants of the Archon Pilgrimage to Constantinople had the opportunity to visit Zoodochos Peghe Monastery at Balukli and pray at the graves of past Patriarchs, which included a trisagion for Patriarch Athenagoras, who also served as the former Archbishop of America.

The pilgrims continued to Panagia Blacherna, the most famous shrine of the Virgin Mary in Istanbul and also the Church of the Holy Savior of Chora.

That evening, a welcome dinner was served for the pilgrims.
