On Thursday, August 21, 2025, His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew was welcomed to the Metropolis of Sweden by His Eminence Metropolitan Cleopas of Sweden and All Scandinavia along with His Eminence Archbishop Martin Modéus of the Lutheran Church of Sweden. National Commander Dr. Anthony J. Limberakis and National Secretary Gus (Kosmas) M. Pablecas also joined His Eminence in welcoming His All-Holiness along with the Patriarchal delegation, which included His Eminence Metropolitan Apostolos of New Jersey. Several additional dignitaries also welcomed His All-Holiness, which included Ekaterini Fountoulaki, the Ambassador of Greece to Sweden and Yönet Can Tezel, Deputy Chief of Mission of Turkey to Sweden.
